Wild Type Ranch is the fortunate recipient of a regenerative improvement grant from Kiss the Ground!

Grant Details

Wild Type Ranch was one of 215 farms to receive funding from Kiss the Ground. These grants impact 73,000 acres across the US. In 2025, Kiss the Ground awarded $500K directly to 215 U.S. farms and ranches through their Regenerative Transition Grants.

How We're Using the Grant

The funds are being used to convert the first portion of degraded row crop acres to rotational grazing and produce our first harvests of pastured eggs, chicken, lamb and pork.

Progress on the Farm

• First cover crops were no-till planted

• Broilers and laying hens growing out on pasture

• First 30 pigs are happily exploring the kindergarten pasture before they get moved to the woods
